Site Details
This stretch of coastal habitat is good for wintering birds and also migrants during the spring and autumn. The pools to the west of Beach Road hold passage waders and wintering ducks and geese. The shingle sea defences can be good for passerines, such as Shorelark during the winter months. Salthouse Duck Pond can occasionally attracts Mediterranean Gulls.

From the A149 just east of Salthouse turn north onto the beach Road. There is a layby TG080439 for scanning the pools to the west. There is a National Trust car park at the end of Beach Road TG082443. Salthouse Duck Pond TG079439 is just to the north of the A149.Access
