Site Details

The wooded area known as Wolferton Triangle is one of only two reliable sites to see Golden Pheasant in the county. The best strategy for seeing Golden Pheasants is to sit quietly in your car and wait for the birds to cross one of the two minor roads which form the 'triangle' - dawn or dusk are the best times. Do not enter the woods enclosed by the triangle.

Nearby Dersingham Bog is an excellent site for Nightjars. Park at TF662285 and walk to the boardwalk and listen for the distinctive churring of Nightjars.
