A group of smaller named woods (New Plantation, Big Wood, Dale Plantation and Low Wood) totalling 16.79 ha (41.5 acres) that is owned and managed by the Woodland Trust. Exclusively deciduous with Hornbeam, Oak and Birch being the dominant tree species.Birding Sites in the Tyrrel's Wood Area
