Site Details

These private gravel pits are well known for regular Smew in the winter. Please note that the pits are viewable only from public roads. The main pit is at TF631113 to the north of the minor road after half a mile. A second pit is at TF639119, southeast off the A10 onto the A143; park carefully by the side of the road after a third of a mile to view from the road.
