Site Details
1000 Acres of Parkland near Knutsford, Cheshire. Owned by The National Trust and administered on their behalf by Cheshire County Council. Main areas of interest to birders are the two substantial lakes (meres) Tatton and Melchett, Oak Woods and Knutsford Moor - a large reedbed at the south end of the park. Spring and Autumn passage migrants. Winter wildfowl. Breeding Warblers and all three Woodpeckers.
