Directions
Access is from the end of Dee Lane, West Kirby, at the northern end of West Kirby Marine Lake. Visitors should phone the Visitor centre at Thurstaston (tel. 0151 648 4371/3884) for information about tides and safe times for crossing.Access
Access to the islands is only possible by foot at low tide at certain times of the day. Individuals or parties of 5 or fewer may cross without a permit, but groups are restricted to 50 people a day and must obtain a permit in advance from the Visitor Centre, Wirral Country Park, Station Road,Thurstaston, Wirral, L61 0HN.Parking
Large car park on seafront.Facilities
There is little shelter on the islands and no shops or public toilets; there are plenty of facilities in West Kirby.Site Photographs
