Site Details

Formerly known as Marbury No.1 Tank or Marbury No.1 Sludge Beds, this former dredging bed has been restored as a wader and wildfowl site with two viewing screens. Part of Anderton Nature Park, within Northwich Community Woodlands.

Directions

From Marbury Country Park car park walk down Marbury Lane, over the Canal and then enter the access gate on the right and walk left to the hides. From Anderton Nature Park car park follow the footpath along the Brook to the Tank and hides.

Pay-and-display car parks at Marbury Country Park (SJ652763&ar=y), Anderton Nature Park (SJ648753&ar=y) and near Witton Mill Bridge (SJ663747&ar=y).

Unrestricted.
