Directions
From Green Road roundabout (the junction of the A40 Oxford Ring Road and A420 London Road in Headington, northwest of Oxford), follow the minor road through Barton and past the Crematorium. Ignore a right-hand turning to Stanton St. John (though Shepherd's Pits, a short way down that road, may be worth a brief detour). At the B4027 turn left then first right to Beckley village. Pass the church and the Abingdon Arms pub then follow the narrow and potholed lane as it swings left down onto the Moor. The RSPB car park is at the end. To reach the screens, follow the footpath around the car park field, turn left along the bridleway towards Noke, then right after about half a mile along a permissive path at the end of the large "Greenaways" field (formerly "the RSPB field").Access
Small RSPB car park accessible via Otmoor Lane from Beckley village; viewing mainly from public rights of way, plus permissive path to screens from Rifle Range–Noke bridleway.The northwestern part of Otmoor can be accessed along a public bridleway from Oddington, although car parking is extremely limited in the village and there have been complaints from residents in the past.
