Site Details

National Trust Nature Reserve, alongside road from Sandbanks ferry to Studland. Open heathland with much heather, gorse, bracken and some mixed coniferous and deciduous woodland. Includes a lake - Little Sea. Noted for Dartford Warbler.

Directions

Take car and passenger ferry from Sandbanks (Poole) to Studland. Buses use ferry. It is about 1 mile to the hide from the ferry in direction of Studland and Swanage.

No restriction.

Parking

By roadside next to marked entrance to site.

Facilities

A National Trust hide is positioned on the highest point.

Pathway to hide from road and then on to Little Sea.
