Site Details
National Trust area accessed from minor road between Corfe Castle-Arne where it crosses Hartland Moor NNR (area of heathland). Take the track roughly northeast for half a mile to hides overlooking Poole Harbour - 1 through farm, other over stiles on right. Habitat: heath, young woodland, farmland then reedbed/creeks of Poole Harbour. Species reflect these but especially good for Avocet, Hen Harrier in winter.

No public transport as far as I'm aware. Wareham and Corfe Castle probably closest.Access
Car parking by Hartland Moor. No cars along track. Access on foot along tracks unrestricted all times I believe.Parking
Off road parking by start of track for about 10 cars.Facilities
2 hides, log books in both. 2 smaller hides overlooking Hartland Moor of little value.Key Areas / Routes
Follow track for main hide and short detour over 2 stiles to other hide. On the opposite side of road where cars are parked, a further path goes across Hartland Moor. Also nearby to Arne, Studland, etc.Site Photographs
