Directions

From Galway city, take the R336 coast road west for c.30km. Rossaveal is well-signposted off this road, for it is popular with tourists taking the Aran Islands ferry. Gulls can be found anywhere around the port or surrounding harbour, while the small lough at L967251 is a favoured area for bathing and loafing.

Parking

There is plenty of parking around the harbour, although a small fee may be necessary.
