Site Details

Reservoir with public access around the perimeter. The scrub around the edge is good good for early migrants, and Wheatears occur on passage on the dam. Hirundines, Swifts and terns frequently hawk over the water.
The Lake has been designated as a Wildlife Site in a bid to protect it from redevelopment. There is a website run by the "Friends of Priorslee Lake" who are trying to protect the habitat from around the lake from being destroyed. For further information about the lake see
