Site Details

Largest of the glacial meres next to the town of Ellesmere. Parkland and deciduous woodland at the north end but no circular route around.

Access to frontage and parkland plus small wood on the far side of the mere.

By roadside next to mere or in the town car parks.

Facilities

Visitors Centre, toilets, cafe and easy walking distance from the main town.
