Site Details
Green Flag Status country park consisting of 180 acres of meadows, ancient woodland and small pools. The park spans the River Severn between Alveley and Highley. A former colliery site, the area was reclaimed in 1988 to create the country park. There is an entensive network of footpaths and bridleways with 4 way-marked trails including an easy access trail with a fully accessible bird hide.Contact Details

Directions
The park is accessible from the Kidderminster to Bridgnorth Road at Alveley. It is signposted to the left from the main road. Alternatively, from Highley, from the main road through the village, take the road opposite the Co-op, signed to Severn Meadows Golf Club and follow the lane for as far as it goes to car park by the railway line. Walk over the railway line, down to the river, cross over bridge and the visitor centre is on the hill to the right. Or if travelling on the Severn Valley Steam Railway, request the Country Park Halt and follow signed paths to visitor centre.Parking
