Directions

Just west of Bubwith where the A163 crosses the River Derwent at Derwent Bridge.

Access

Best viewed both north and south from the sides of the A163. There is a public right of way north along the east bank of the R. Derwent but this approach usually flushes all the birds. Also just to the west of the bridge there is a small track which enables views over floods to the south of the bridge on the west side of the R. Derwent.

Parking

There is a small car park immediately west of Derwent Bridge on the north side of the road. Alternatively parking is available in in Bubwith or at the North Duffield Carrs car park at SE697367.
