Angels from the North: a portrait of the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust

63233611-325c-4d4a-b8a7-bdac532815a8

Published to celebrate the 50th birthday of the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, this is a lovely collection of photographs – birds, other wildlife and scenic shots – taken on the WWT’s nine reserves. The main theme is, understandably, wintering wildfowl, but Water Voles, frogs and Snakeshead Fritillaries all get a look in too. Text is restricted to short captions – this really is all about the photos and they make a stunning, diverse and imaginative collection. This is a very attractively packaged and presented showcase of Richard Taylor-Jones’s work and the beauty of the wildlife and countryside under the care of the WWT.
