Leica announces winner of charity competition

Leica has announced the winner of its competition for a bird charity to win a £5,000 donation from the optics company.
Six local charities have been receiving the public's votes over the past two weeks, but only one winner was eligible for the cash prize.
Leica is delighted to confirm that the Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales has been awarded the funds for seabird work on Skomer Island in 2022.
The £5,000 will be put towards the continuation of long-term monitoring and research on Skomer Island, which is critically important to understand, protect and take action to ensure all native wildlife has a future on the island.
