We start with the announcement of the hugely anticipated third edition of the Collins Bird Guide. Another new book from Harper Collins – Ponds, Pools and Puddles – is set to join the Collins New Naturalist Library from 4 August. Both hardback and paperback versions are available to purchase from the store.
Estrildid Finches of the World is now available to purchase. Inside this hefty hardback book, G J Huisman has compiled an unprecedented photographic, descriptive and factual guide to all 34 genera of these extraordinary finches over 369 pages. Including 1,052 fully coloured photographs and 146 distribution maps showcasing all species and subspecies, it's safe to say this is an essential for the bookshelf.
