While processing the catch from the previous night this Silver Y caught my eye flying around among the Bracken and Knapweed, having approached from who knows where - certainly not from the trap; it settled on the dead leaves and there it stayed. It's not often I manage to photograph a moth in a completely self-chosen and presumably 'natural' resting place, so I was very happy with the result.
