Was very lucky to be on inner farne when the bird flew past me at around 2.40 and i thought did i really see that and luckily the warden Will Scott came running down shouting bridled or Sooty Tern and then i realised that i hadn't We both rang to the Jetty where the bird was flying around the tern and on gut reactions called the bird as Bridled on the basis of upper wing contrast ie grey as opposed to black. The bird showed for approximately 15 minutes before flying north.
