Taken on 14/06/2006
The last of 4 chicks fledged on the 13th June 2006 and I was able to photograph the maiden flight. After watching these birds for two years and an estimated 1000 hours + observation and photographing them I am thrilled that they have been so successful. They have been a joy to watch and I hope the fledged birds will finally go on to find rerritories of their own. If anyone should see these birds in the future they have red darvic rings with numbers which can be read with bins or telescope. Would you please report your sightings to me and/or the county bird recorder.
