I watched a Cuckoo continuously being fed by Meadow Pipits along the road edge, whilst bird watching at Glenwherry, co Antrim. When the Pipits were not quick enough, the Cuckoo would pursue them and the call would be longer and louder. On occasions the Pipits would have to land on its back to get close enough to feed the Cuckoo.
Equipment
Nikon d3200, with Sigma 150-500 lens.
