Session taken on the block of rocks below the short stay CP. Conditions were very windy. I understand at least one is a rarity but there are 3 young specimens that I find hard to determine so I have called them friends 1, 2 and 3. I apologise but friend 2 drifted in and out like a ghost throughout the session whereas friend 1 never moved. That is probably the semipalmated sandpiper. 3 is possibly a turnstone?
