Taken on 07/02/2012
First sighting for a number of days probably due to the very misty conditions. Today was sunny and frosty and it was spotted at 13:25, out on the estuary just off Scargavel Point - feeding rather vigourously in a shallow channel left by the now receding tide. It was being pestered continuously by gulls and evenually flew off east landing on the saltmarsh this side of the Viaduct.
Equipment
Canon EOS 7D with Sigma 150-500mm, F5 -6.3 Zoom.
