There are approximately thirty thousand Pink-footed Geese at present over wintering at Montrose Basin. With numbers expected to peak at the beginning of November. Scottish Wildlife Trust staff at Montrose Basin Visitor Centre will be holding their annual "Goose Breakfast" on Sunday 4th of November from 6-30am to 8-45am. Members of the public can watch the spectacular sight of the geese flying out to feed, before returning to the centre for a light breakfast (small charge).
