Horsey Mill can be used as a vantage point to overlook Horsey Mere. Alternatively from the car park follow the footpath west and then north from the car park to overlook the Mere for roosting raptors and Common Cranes passing through to roost. The fields in the Horsey area are worth scanning for wild swans and grey geese, and also for Common Cranes during the day and raptors.
