Multimedia Identification Guide to North Atlantic Seabirds: Albatrosses and Fulmarine Petrels
This new identification guide on Albatrosses and Fulmarine Petrels of the North Atlantic is the culmination of many years of at-sea observations by the authors. It is the third in this multimedia guide series on regular and vagrant bird species of the North Atlantic. The detailed accounts include species such as, Atlantic Yellow-nosed Albatross, Shy Albatross, Black-browed Albatross, both Southern and Northern Giant Petrel, Atlantic Fulmar and Pacific Fulmar; as well as a chapter on confusion pairs.
The book is accompanied by 2 DVDs with over 120 minutes of both at-sea footage and, for some species, in-hand and at-colony footage.
The DVDs follow the contents of the book, allowing cross-referencing, and form an excellent preparation for a seawatch or pelagic trip. The DVDs are in PAL format (multiregional) and will play on computers worldwide (Canada & USA plays on most modern DVD players).
