Site Details

The Golden Cap Estate, is a mixture of hidden valleys and rolling hills. Important wildlife habitats include semi-natural ancient woodlands, long stretches of shingle foreshore and huge areas of shifting undercliff. Extending to nearly 2,500 acres and including the highest cliff on the southern coast, Golden Cap, the Estate is part of the Dorset and East Devon Coast World Heritage Site praised for its important geology and the fossils that can be found. It has over 20 miles of footpaths and bridleways as well as working farms, a range of cottages including holiday cottages and a campsite.
