Site Details

Small bay on south bank of Thames to the north of Halstow Marshes. Covered by water from about two hours prior to High water. Good for waders etc

Directions

Approach from Jackson's Corner (TQ791755) on small dead-end road off Fleet Street. Past Decoy Farm and Swigshole and continue north on public footpath to sea wall and Egypt Bay. See OS Landranger 178.

Access

Access via public right of way.

Parking

There is virtually no parking anywhere on the approach road. Cars can only be safely/conveniently left in High Halstow village.

None

Key Areas / Routes

Halstow Marshes to the south are crossed to reach Egypt Bay. Keep an eye on Decoy Fleet and across the marshes for roosting birds etc.
