Site Details

Salt marsh lying a mile north of Seaton Marshes local nature reserve. Important salt marsh plant communities and goodviews across the upper Axe estuary.

Directions

Turn off the A3052 towards Seaton along Colyford Road. After a couple of yards there is a gateway on the left with a smaller access gate, the entrance to the local nature reserve is at the end of this track.

Access

Access is restricted to a single permissive path from the gate to the viewing platform. Because of the wet nature of the saltmarsh this site is not suitable for wheelchair users at present.
