Site Details
The woods, parkland and lake of this National Trust property are open at all times. The Great Wood, behind and to the north of the Hall, has a series of marked trails and is an excellent area for all the common Norfolk woodland birds. The lake, not visible from the car park, lies to the south of the Hall, and is approached through the parkland, or by following the signs along the main drive. The lake is always worth checking during the winter months for visiting waterfowl, and for migrant waders during spring and autumn.
