Site Details
An artificial reservoir operated by Hartlepool Water Company. There are deep water areas suitable for diving duck and the northeast and northwest corners are shallower, with some exposed mud when water level is low.

Directions
Access is from the unclassified road between Trimdon and the A19 about 2.5 miles east of Trimdon and 6 miles west of Hartlepool.Access
There are public rights of way surrounding the reservoir suitable for viewing but strictly no access to the shoreParking
Free parking for 4-5 cars by the Wynyard - Station Town cycleway, immediately east of the railway bridge.Opening Times
Public footpath open at all times.Facilities
No facilities.Key Areas / Routes
The raised track north from the car park gives good views of the reservoir along the east bank. At the northern end a public footpath off to the left then crosses a bridge/causeway over the northwest arm before heading back south along the west bank.
