Site Details

A seawatching lookout point and area of coast for migrants. Lies off the coast road just south of Penarth. Includes rocky foreshore, coastal fields, low cliffs, scrub and small trees. Best seawatching conditions are when the wind is between northeast and southeast (which it has to be admitted is not very often, as the prevailing wind is from the West). There is a small house and church at the point and the gardens of these are worth checking in spring and autumn.
