Site Details

A limestone mountain (724 m) with a gritstone cap, and one of the Yorkshire Three Peaks. Generally climbed from Ingleton or Clapham, a walk of several miles. The Yorkshire Wildlife Trust have three reserves on the mountain slopes: SoutherscalesSalt Lake Quarry and Brae Pasture. More information can be found at Wild Ingleborough.
