Site Details
Estuarine mud on both sides of the River Exe extending south of Topsham to Turf Locks PH. Borders Exeter Canal and Exminster Marshes to the West and RSPB Bowling Green Marshes to the east/northeast.

Directions
Topsham is served by rail (Exeter to Exmouth line). The RSPB site tends to indicate the reserve as west of the river Exe, however you need to be in Topsham itself. You need Elm Grove Road which leads down to the marshes. Park before the road narrows and walk down the road to the hide which is at SX972876Access
Best at low tide. Good views from quayside and riverside road/lane on east bank of river. Also cross by passenger ferry (when tide allows) to west bank. Good views from Turf Locks and the Topsham to Turf Locks ferry.Parking
Pay and display parking available on the quayside in Topsham SX966878 (Limited spaces).Facilities
