Site Details
A site previously excellent for bathing and loafing gulls, the pit has now become 'overgrown' with reeds and attracts a typical range of wetland species.

Northeast of Peterborough, Dogsthorpe Star Pit is situated on the north side of the A47. Parking is limited at the northeast end of the site at TF214029, and can be accessed north along the minor road from the A47 roundabout.Site Photographs
