There are rough grasslands, ponds, marshes, thorn thickets and scrub developing into Fermyn Woods at the top of the hill.

Directions

Fermyn Woods Country Park is signposted from the A6116 at Brigstock, between Thrapston and Corby.

Access

Permit-only fishing. Details at the visitors centre. Notify ranger in advance of group visits.

Parking

The pay-and-display car park is situated in a restored ironstone quarry. Car parking in operation from 08:30-17:00, 50p (up to 1 hour) and £1 (all day).

Opening Times

Open at all times to pedestrians and cars. The ranger is available at the following times: summer 8.30am - 6.00pm; winter 8.30am - 5.00pm.

Facilities

Visitors centre, toilets and picnic tables.

Key Areas / Routes

Fermyn Forest circular walk at the west side of the park.
