Site Details
Small freshwater lagoon separated from sea by shingle ridge and small meadow and playing field. Privately owned but the Ley can be looked at from seaward side. Also public access to good bird hide on south side of Ley. Hide accessible by the disabled. Busy area in summer but always adequate free parking.

Signposted from Carehouse Cross, Stokenham, on the A379 between Dartmouth and Kingsbridge.Access
Most of the Ley boundary is private but the whole Ley can easily be observed from seaward side or the bird hide.Parking
Ample free parking.Opening Times

Log book in bird hide.Key Areas / Routes
Small enough to cover well in 1-2 hours, can easily be combined with trip to nearby Slapton Ley.Site Photographs
