Directions

Leave A13 at the Orsett Cock roundabout east of Grays (intersection with A128); continue east on A1013 for 1 mile, then turn right into Buckingham Hill Road. Continue through Linford, cross railway line and follow road to Coalhouse Fort.

Parking

Large public car park at Coalhouse Fort.

Key Areas / Routes

Leave car park and head north along concrete sea wall. Cross large area of rough vegetation to view foreshore and river from edge. Continue nother along seawall, observing both the river, foreshore and arable land/rough grazing to left of sea wall.
