Site Details
A small area of washland situated to the northeast of Baston village and south of Bourne. In winter, wildfowl includes Wigeon and Teal while surrounding rough ground attracts regular Short-eared Owls among the healthy local population of Barn Owls. Occasional surprises may occur, particularly in hard weather.

Directions
The reserve is situated between the River Glen and the Counter Drain. The entrance is at the east end of the reserve at TF145176, about 1km southwest of the junction of the Bourne road. Cross the concrete bridge and park on the left. Visitors are requested not to park on the track running straight from the bridge to the River Glen bank as this obstructs farm traffic.Access
