2km north of Southport on Marine Drive. Follow Marine Drive north from Southport seafront. From Preston, take third exit from The Plough roundabout.Access
Access open. Hides open 08:30-17:00. No charges. Trail and hides wheelchair-friendly.Parking
Free at junction of Marine Drive and Marshide Road by Sand-works.Facilities
Two hides, two viewing screens and one viewing platform.Key Areas / Routes
Hides. Hesketh Road junction for high tide waders. Crossens end for spring-tide waders and owl and harriers. Public footpaths and reserve trails encircle the site.Site Photographs
