Site Details
A relatively small tip nearing completion that, in winter, can attract several thousand gulls. Unfortunately, tipping in recent years has taken place in areas out of view from public rights of way and thus the best views are generally afforded when gulls choose to loaf in fields southeast of the A1139.Birding Sites in the Dogsthorpe Tip Area

Directions
The best views of gulls over the tip can be obtained from the Van Hage Centre approach road at TF213018. There is a small layby in which to park here; alternatively use the main car park at Van Hage and walk back 200m to view. Mature trees, raised banks and barbed wire fences unfortunately prevent any further views of the area.Site Photographs
