Lough Money lies hidden away in rocky countryside near Ballyalton, 4 km east of Downpatrick.

Directions
From Downpatrick take the B1 towards Ardglass, keeping left at the Downshire Hospital just outside the town towards Ballyalton and Ballyhornan as far as Ballyalton. Just past Ballyalton, fork left off the Ballyhornan Road for 0.8 km to the lough.Parking
