Site Details
Unstead SF is located in a rural setting in the Wey valley near Godalming. The recording area is about half a square mile in size, and is bounded by roads on all sides. The site includes a variety of habitats: the modern sewage farm with sprinkler beds and tanks, a large water meadow and small lagoon with a marshy area of reeds, a dry sandy heath-like area, weedy fields, gardens, mixed woodland, and an old dump that now more resembles common land.

Directions
From the A281 Guildford-Horsham Road just north of Bramley, turn left down Foxborough Hill Road, then right at its T-junction with Unstead Lane, and soon right again onto Trunley Heath Road. The entrance is on the right. From the A3100 Guildford-Godalming Road, turn right just south of Peasmarsh onto Tilthams Cornner Road, the left at the T-junction with Trunley Heath Road. The entrance is almost immediately on your right.Access
All of the site is private land (Thames Water or local landowners), but a public footpath crosses the site from west to east, from which nearly all the habitats can be easily viewed. Roads bordering the site also give useful views.Parking
Surrounding roads are narrow, and the only possible parking is along the short access road to the works, either on the grass verge or well in to the kerb on the left.
