Site Details
The flooded grasslands next to the River Yare are one of the best locations to see Taiga Bean Geese during the winter months. The area can be accessed by walking southwest along the track from the old railway station to reach the River Yare. Carefully check the fields. Head west along the riverbank to reach the hide by the old windpump TG353044. The geese are usually distant, or can sometimes be on the south side of the River Yare. Continuing eastwards along the River Yare brings you onto Cantley Marshes.
