Site Details
Lady Anne's Drive: The minor road to the north off the A149 in Holkham is Lady Anne's Drive TF892440. The road is directly opposite the turning to Holkham Hall, next to the Victoria Hotel.
Holkham Freshmarsh: This is the area to the west of Lady Anne's Drive. Walking west from the car park TF891447 brings you to the Washington Hide and then the Joe Jordan Hide. During the summer months it is possible to continue south along the path from the Joe Jordan Hide back to the A149.
Holkham Bay: From the car park TF891447 head north through the pines and follow the boardwalk to a viewing platform and then walk north towards the sea. The whole area around Holkham Gap TF890450 can be productive during the winter months. Alternatively the area can be accessed by parking at Wells and walking west towards Holkham Gap.
Holkham Pines - Western End: Explore the pine woods to the west of the car park TF891447 for migrants.
Holkham Hall: Opposite the road north to Lady Anne's Drive is the turning for Holkham Hall. Head south for quarter of a mile to park at TF892435. Head west through the gates towards the monument TF884435 and explore the woodland, lake and park.

The village of Holkham is on the A149 a couple of miles west of Wells-next-the-Sea. The area contains a number of interesting locations and a mixture of habitat. There is a car park at TF891447 which forms the starting point for the sites in the area.Parking
