Site Details
A large man-made reservoir, surrounded by arable fields, grasslands and ancient and modern woodlands. The Wildlife Trust for Beds, Cambs, Northants and Peterborough manage the west end of the site on behalf of landowners, Anglian Water. The reservoir attracts a large number of wintering wildfowl and is good for migrant terns, waders and seabirds.

Directions
Just west of A1 north of St. Neots. Leave the A1 at the B661 to Buckden or the A14 at Ellington and follow the signs to Grafham Water.Parking
There are several car parks around the reservoir. Mander car park near West Perry (TL142671) is the closest to the reserve, information centre, nature trails and hides. Other car parks are Plummer (TL162665, 1 mile east of West Perry) and Marlow (TL167680, on northeast shore between Grafham and B661).Opening Times

The large creeks at the western end harbour large flocks of loafing ducks. Muddy shorelines near Marlow and Plummer Car Parks can be good for waders in the autumn. Littless Wood and Savages Spinney good for woodland birds.Site Photographs
