Site Details
6 miles N of Girvan. Rocky headland with lighthouse, situated on Turnberry Golf Course. Small islet to South of point used by roosting waders. Turnberry Bay lies further to South of this.

Directions
Follow A77 South from Ayr, via Maybole and turn North on to A719 at Turnberry village until the access road to the lighthouse is reached. Stagecoach buses run bus service to the area, but not many in course of day.Access
Access via lighthouse road across Golf Course. Cars must be parked at first closed wooden gate on old wartime runway. Walk West along remainder of road (10 minutes) to lighthouse. Closed between dusk and dawn when other gate at main road is also locked.Parking
