Directions
Two miles southwest of Wellingborough, off the A509 roundabout at Wollaston. Take the turning to Great Doddington/Grendon. Summer Leys is approximately three-quarters of a mile along on the right-hand side; look out for the sign on the left-hand side of the road, as the entrance comes up on you suddenly.Parking
Summer Leys has a free car park. There are some bays for disabled parking.Opening Times

4 bird hides (hard paths to all hides), viewing screens, picnic area and hard paths. 2 mile circular walk. Wheelchair access to all hides and to about 300m of paths. Guided walks to groups available.Key Areas / Routes
Mary's Lake is northeast of Summer Leys, on the opposite side of the dead-end lane. It is the second lake on the right hand side as you drive down the lane, and is viewable from the first gate in the hedge. When there is a twitch on, the narrow lane rapidly gets overcrowded with cars, so best advice would be to park at the Summer Leys car park and walk round the Reserve to the bird feeder station hide and then cross the lane.Site Photographs
