Site Details

Located at the southern end of Smerwick Harbour, Baile an Reannaigh (or Ballinrannig) is the name given to the small outflow and adjacent small pool and marsh at Q376048. Over the years, the area has produced an exceptional list of exciting Nearctic waterbirds, although the pool has become overgrown and no longer attracts waders as it once did.
